HOW TO S.O.A.P BIBLE STUDY METHOD




          Hello friends today is another blessed day the Lord has made, for those of us who have been following bedtime rhythms, we have been studying a lot of things by the Lord's grace.

        And today is no exception, many people have challenges when it comes to the word of God,
by the grace of God we are going to study some of the simplest ways of studying and understanding the word of God.


1. Do you have any challenge in God's word?

2. Do you understand everything in the bible?

3. Do you feel lazy to study God's word?

4. Or you don't know how to study your Bible?

         If any of these is your challenge, then be at peace, God is leading us to study His word using the
S.O.A.P study method.

WHAT DOES S.O.A.P MEAN?
     First of all, start your quiet time or bible study with prayer, ask the Lord to lead you and help you understand His word.





       S .... stand for Scripture : write out the verse that was meaningful to you in the chapter.
you will be amazed what God will reveal to you just by taking your time to slow down and actually write out what you're reading.

         O .... stand for Observation : As you read your Bible, what was interesting in this passage?
what did you learn? What was God saying to you?

          A .... stand for Application : Now ask yourself, how can you apply this scripture to your life? How will you let it change you?

      P ... stand for Prayer : Now respond to God in prayer, use the scripture as a guide. Ask God to help you meditate and apply the scripture to your life.



                                     NOW THIS IS HOW TO S.O.A.P

SFinally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.  PHIL 04 ; 08

O ; I should be very optimistic in my Christian life, i should only think about things which are positive and right in the sight of God.

A ; It takes a lot of effort to stay pure and to think right all the time. Am i making the effort to do things which are pleasing unto my God? Are these things my main focus or do i spend more time doing and thinking about things which are detestable unto God? what do i mostly do or think about that doesn't please the Lord?

P ; God i want to stay true and pure, always thinking positive and doing what is right, i want to focus on things that is pleasing unto you Father, but i'm often distracted and tempted to do things which are evil. Please help me to seek you first in all i do and to do what is always right in your sight my God, in Jesus name. AMEN!

THE SAD STORY OF THE FOUR CANDLES

                      ROMANS 05 ; 03 - 04 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation brings patient, and patient brings experience, and experience also brings hope.                  One evening, four candles were burning slowly whiles having a conversation. THE 4 MOST COMMON TEMPERAMENTS

            A person's temperament is formed as an infant and never changes. It simply develops over time as you mature and grow, to make you who you are. Studies have shown that temperament does not change but remains constant. THERE ARE FOUR MAIN TYPES OF TEMPERAMENTS TEMPERAMENT TYPES Sanguine (enthusiastic, active, and social) Choleric (short-tempered, fast, and irritable) Melancholic (analytical, wise, and quiet) Phlegmatic (relaxed and peaceful). Psychologists recognize four primary temperament types. The names of the types were originally  names of humor in more distant times . It was believed that humor caused people to behave in certain ways. Although science has refuted the existence of humor in that fashion, the names of the four temperament types stuck. It is possible, in fact likely, that someone will have both primary and secondary temperament types. A person can have any combination of the temperament types to make up their overall personality. Th
