CONTROL EQUALS PEACE ..... TODAY'S BIBLE STUDY FOR QUIET TIME

PSALM 37 ; 05

DEPEND ON THE LORD, TRUST HIM, AND HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU

Plan. Plot. Scheme. That is the way this world does things. It's all about control. Control your time, control your money, control the people and events around you - control your life. Control equals peace.

But the thing is, you can never be in complete control. Just when you think you've prepared for every possibility, something unexpected pops up and ruins all your plans. Your parents may say no, your colleagues or boss may say no, the weather may cancel the big game you were waiting, or even sickness may stop you from getting out of bed or going somewhere.

Sometimes things may not work as you planned, yes have you experienced anything like that?

Control does equal peace - but only when it's My control. Bring Me all your needs, your hopes and fears, and leave them in My care. Depend on Me to do the planning, and i will give you My
Peace.

THE KING AND THE GREEDY BEGGAR...INSPIRING STORY

PSALM 40 ; 04 BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO HAS MADE THE LORD HIS TRUST, WHO HAS NOT TURNED TO THE PROUD, NOR TO THOSE WHO LAPSE INTO FALSEHOOD! VERY MOTIVATIONAL.                Long time ago,  there lived a great king and two beggars who always stood at the gate of his palace everyday. As the king rode by everyday, the first beggar would say, blessed is he whom the king helps, while the second beggar say blessed is he whom the God helps.               The king always felt pleased to hear the praise of the first beggar. One evening the king decided to reward the first beggar for all the praise; he ordered his baker to bake a cake and wrapped gold inside the cake.               The next day he rode by, he gave the cake to the first beggar as he hailed him as usual. The first beggar who was in dire need of cash sold the cake to the second beggar at a cheap price, say...

THE SAD STORY OF THE FOUR CANDLES

ROMANS 05 ; 03 - 04 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation brings patient, and patient brings experience, and experience also brings hope.                  One evening, four candles were burning slowly whiles having a conversation. The ambiance was so soft one could almost hear them talking.                                               The first candle said; i am PEACE but the world is full of anger and fighting, and nobody wants to keep me lit, and slowly it cried and went off.                                                             ...
