WORKING FOR ME .......... TODAY'S BIBLE STUDY FOR QUIET TIME



COLOSSIANS 03 ; 23

Work willingly at whatever you do,
as though you are doing it for the Lord not for man.
            Everyday you are faced with choice after choice.
When you're trying to make decisions, you need a good goal to guide you. So seek to please Me in all your choices -  in all you do. And an important question to ask yourself.

             Why? keep asking yourself why, why do i want to do this or that? why do i want to be a christian, why do i want to be humble, why do i want to embark on this task?. Never forget to ask yourself why you're doing the things you're doing.

              You know that in order to please Me you need to spend time with Me. Worship,prayer, praise, and Bible study -  these are the things that makes Me smile.

              But pleasing Me isn't just about the things you do with Me. It's also about the things you do for Me. From the big things like helping the sick, giving to the poor, and being a friend to the friendless, to the everyday things you do at home, cooking, cleaning, washing, and being respectful - do everything for Me.

               Sometimes it may seem like you're working for others, but you're really working for Me. So do the best you can, knowing i' ll reward you and be with you in all you do.

MORAL

 When you work with the Lord and for the Lord how do you feel?

How about when you work for others, how do you feel? sad, heart broken, abused or you feel cheated?

But do you know whatever we do, you and I do, we're actually doing it for the Lord?

If we do it well and well only then can we get a reward from God.
Sometimes your fellow workers will discourage you or even your boss can do same, but don't worry because you're not doing it for them, but for God.

So don't feel sad, rejected, abused or cheated when doing things for people. Sometimes nobody would praise you for your good work, but God will surely do. Always look up to God when doing things for people.

PRAYER

Lord i'm grateful for your word today, I pray for the work I do, I ask oh Lord even when i'm sad or heart broken about my work please give me the strength i need to continue doing the good thing knowing that when i do it well i shall have a reward from You. Help me in Jesus name AMEN!
